If i spent 3 hours in homework and of that time 1/3 on math and 1/5 on science, what method could i use to solve this problem?????????

(1/3) * 3 = 3/3 = 1 hour
(1/5) * 3 = 3/5
1 + 3/5 = 1 3/5 hour = 1 hour and 36 minutes
