The problem is x + 2y = -7
x - 5y = 7
from the 2nd: x = 5y+7
plut into the first:
x + 2y = -7
5y+7 + 2y = -7
7y = -14
y = -2
back in x = 5y+7 = 5(-2)+7 = -3
x = -3 , y = -2
