Write about influences of race as it relates to your community. In your paper, write your first-person account of how human interactions in your community have been racialized. For the community, you can consider relations within your neighborhood, local government, service groups, clubs, schools, workplace, or any environment of which you are a part of.

My problem is that I recently moved here and have not been exposed to any racism. Can anyone give me an idea what I should be writing about. Thank you.

this sounds like one of previous classes then you should write about your last neighborhood but before doing so send a message to your instructor if that's okay.

I have a feeling i am not wrong this is your final paper for the course so if you still have time ask the instructor about if you can write about your previous neighborhood otherwise they will probably say to go and investigate your new neighborhood. good luck though on your paper and one suggestion make sure you cover all the possible points as possible because the grading critirea is not that easy. but if i see more post here from you i can guide you through it from my previous experience with that paper or even other tutors here they are all awsome in providing help for better understanding or even given good websites. your in the right place but don't forget to ask your instructor..:)

It seems like you are struggling with the direction of your paper on the influences of race in your community. Since you recently moved and haven't experienced racism there yet, it might be a good idea to reach out to your instructor for clarification on whether you can write about your previous neighborhood instead.

If your instructor permits it, you can start by describing your previous neighborhood and the interactions you observed or experienced there. Reflect on any racial dynamics that may have existed within your old community. You could consider the following environments within your previous neighborhood:

1. Neighborhood relations: Reflect on the diversity of residents in terms of ethnicity, how people interacted, and whether there were any racial tensions or disparities.

2. Local government: Investigate the representation and inclusion of different racial groups in local government bodies and evaluate whether policies or practices perpetuated or challenged racial inequalities.

3. Service groups or clubs: Examine the diversity within these groups, how racial dynamics may have influenced membership or participation, and if any racial biases were evident.

4. Schools: Analyze the racial composition of schools in your previous neighborhood, any disparities in access to resources or opportunities, and whether there were instances of racial discrimination or tensions among students or faculty members.

5. Workplace: If you were employed in your old neighborhood, consider the racial composition of the workforce and any experiences of racial bias or discrimination you observed or faced.

As you write your paper, ensure you cover all possible points relevant to your chosen environment. Remember to include personal anecdotes or experiences that provide a first-person account and support your analysis. Also, consider seeking additional guidance from your instructor or utilizing reliable online resources to further understand the topic and enhance your paper's quality.
