If my middle term is even and it starts with x^2, I always complete the square.
x^2 + 14x + 49 = -4 + 49
(x+7)^2 = 40
x+7 = ± √40 = ± 2√10
x = -7 ± 2√10
X^2+14x+4=0
x^2 + 14x + 49 = -4 + 49
(x+7)^2 = 40
x+7 = ± √40 = ± 2√10
x = -7 ± 2√10
