Given f(x) = –5x + 1, what is f(–2)?

Please explain how you get the answer to. :) ty

for any value of x, f(x) = -5x+1

So, wherever you see an x, substitute a -2 and you have

f(-2) = -5(-2)+1 = 10+1 = 11

OHHhhh ok TY very much! I think I get it now.

To find f(-2), we substitute -2 into the function f(x) = -5x + 1.
