1) What is the value of 19 + 5a^4 + 3b^2 when a = 2 and b = 4? (this is not a multiple choice question) but my answer is 147. 2)Combine the like terms to simplify the expression: 4 + 7xy^2 + 5y^3 + 10x 4xy^2 8x 4y^3 + 9
algebra
Simplify. Do not use negative exponents in the answer. 12x2y4 3xy7 There should be a line between like a fraction but it did not copy or paste. This is the answer I got 12 x^2 y^4 = 12y^4/x^2 3xy^7 = 3x/y^7 it was wrong.
Simultaneous equation
X+y+z=1......(1) x^2+y^2+z^2=35........(2) x^3+y^3+z^3=97.........(3) solution but from 3 (x^3+y^3)=(x+y)^33xy(x+y)......(4) puting 4 into 3 bck (x+y)^33xy(x+y)+z^3=97.......(5) now from 1 x+y=1z......(6) putin 6 into 7 we have

differential equations
the directions are to determine whether or not the equation is exact if so then solve it. the question is (xy^3+ysinx)dx = (3xy^2+2ycosx)dy i solve and i got that it is exact because My is 3y^2+2ysinx and Nx is 3y^2+2ysinx
Derive
Find the derivative of sin(2x + 3y)= 3xy + 5y2. I have this so far 1) cos(2x+3y) * d/dx (2x+3y)= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 2) cos (2x+3y) * [2 + 3y']= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 3) 3y' cos (2x+3y) + 2cos(2x+3y)= 3xy' + 3y + 5y' 4) 3xy' + 5y'
