Intermolecular forces
Vapour Pressure
How do the vapour pressure of two substance at the same temperature but with different strengths of the inter-molecular forces compare. Give a molecular explanation of why this is so.
1 answer
If the intermolecular force is greater the vapor pressure will be less because the molecules must have more kinetic energy to escape as a vapor.
