  1. Vo*t + 0.5g*t^2 = 100-50 = 50
    0 + 4.9t^2 = 50
    t^2 = 10.20
    t = 3.19 s.

    V = Vo + g*t = 0 + 9.8*3.19 = 31.3 m/s =
    The velocity after the 1st 50 m drop =
    The initial velocity (Vo) for the 2nd 50 m drop.

    31.3*t + 4.9t^2 = 50
    4.9t^2 + 31.3t - 50 = 0
    t = 1.32 s.(Use Quad. Formula).
