2x^2+9x-5 is the area of a rectangle and one side of the rectangle is x+5, What is the other side of the rectangle?

A volume of a cube is 15625cm cubed. What is the length from point A to B in the cube?
Point A is on the front bottom right corner and point B is on the the other side of the cube on the top left side so the line is like this: \

well, it has to be a x + b to get a quadratic for the area

(ax+b)(x+5) = 2 x^2 + 9 x -5
so divide

********* 2x -1
*******________________
(x+5) | 2 x^2 + 9 x - 5
********2 x^2 + 10 x
--------------------------
****************-x - 5
****************-x - 5
Remainder = 0, (good thing)
so
The other side is (2x-1)

diagonal across bottom = s sqrt 2
then diagonal above that to upper corner
sides = s sqrt 2 and s
so
d = sqrt (2 s^2 +s^2) = sqrt (3 s^2)
= s sqrt 3

here s = 15625^(1/3) = 25 remarkably enough

so our d = 25 sqrt 3 = 43.3

OMG thank u so much!!! Though I have 1 more question sorry. The cost of jewelry is the fixed amount + % of value. It costs $32 to insure $1000 of jewlerry. And it costs $44.50 to insure $3500. What is the fixed amount to insure?

C = f + k v

32 = f + k (1000)
44.5 = f + k(3500)
------------------ subtract
-12.5 = -2500 k
k = .005 or .5 %
then go back with that k
32 = f + 5
f = 27
