  1. 1/2 + 2/5 = 9/10
    so, the remaining 1/10 are large

    1/10 x = 5
    x = 50

  2. Let x = total number of shirts

    0.5x + 0.4x + 5 = x

    0.9x + 5 = x

    5 = 0.1x

    5/0.1 = x

    50 = x
