Which amendment is the direct result of a spiritual awakening?

  1. I doubt if any of the Amendments to the U.S. Constitution is a direct result of a "spiritual awakening." However, if you define "spiritual awakening," it might be easier to figure it out.

    The Amendments were proposed and ratified for secular, social, and political motives, not spiritual motives.

  2. This is arguable, your "direct" poses problems. I would go with the first amendment, but I see it as an indirect result of religious strife going on in Europe during the reformation.

  3. I have many questions:
    -How many judges does the Supreme Court have?
    -Who has the right to decide wether a federal, state or local law is constitutional?
