    Theodore Roosevelt involvement in big businesses focused more on regulating large corporations. Making sure businesses competed fairly through regulation. He also responded to public dismay about practices of food and drug industries. When Upton Sinclair exposed the unsanitary conditions in “The Jungle” and Secretary of Agriculture James Wilson second it. Congress responded by passing laws which required inspections and forbade manufacture, sales, transportation of harmful ingredients.




    i took out foreign policies because we haven't discussed that topic. and the professor doesn't want us to use online information except the text book and it doesn't have anything about foreign affairs in the section we are in
