V1 was 24 mL and underneath it was a blank box in which I plug in 4000 L as my answer because the answer that I got needed to be rounded to the thousandths place and that was how I got my answer.

T1 was 18 °C and underneath it was a blank box in which I plug in 291 K as my answer because I used 273 + 18= 291 as my answer.

P2 was 430 mmHg and underneath it was a blank box in which I plug in the answer 500 atm because the regular answer that I got had to be rounded to the nearest hundredths place and that was how I got 500 atm as my answer.

V1 was 224 mL and underneath it was a blank box in which I plug in the answer 1000 L as my rounded answer to the thousandths place.

P2 was 125 kPa and underneath it was a blank box in which I plug in the answer 700 atm as my rounded answer to the hundreds place.

Lizy--What you are missing here is the concept. I worked this problem yesterday in detail. I thought it was for you but it may have been for another student. The 600 mm number is the pressure. The black box to which you refer is the answer box and the teacher wants this number of 600 mm Hg pressure converted to atmospheres. The conversion factor is 760 mm Hg pressure = 1 atmosphere pressure; therefore, 600/760 = 0.789473684211 atm. THIS is the number to be rounded to the hundredths place (not the 600 number). Therefore, this number, rounded to the hundredths place is 0.79 atm.

The other parts of the problem are done the same way. Your conversions for C to Kelvin are done properly although I didn't check the addition. The volume, in mL, is to be converted to liters and THAT is the number to be rounded, not the 24. If you will redo your problem and repost it (please only one problem to a post) we shall be happy to take another look at it.
