What does this have to do with history? What is CAPS?

CAPS iz lyk NCS,do u remember it?

Yes, it is true that the South African curriculum has undergone changes known as the Curriculum and Assessment Policy Statement (CAPS). These changes were introduced in order to standardize the curriculum across grades 10 to 12 and to align it with international standards.

One of the changes that CAPS introduced was the replacement of Mathematics Literacy with Mathematical Literacy (also known as "Pure Mathematics") from grade 10 onwards. Mathematical Literacy focuses more on the application of mathematical concepts in practical situations, including financial literacy, problem-solving, and data analysis.

Therefore, if you were doing Mathematics Literacy in grade 10, you will now be required to switch to Mathematical Literacy (Pure Mathematics) for grades 11 and 12 under the CAPS curriculum. It is important to discuss this change with your school and ensure that you have access to the updated curriculum resources and support.
