I'm pro-life change my mind

I wouldn't try to change your mind. In one view, abortion is murder.

What do you do to help support babies that are born, but not wanted?

Do you help support a mother and her child?
Have you adopted any unwanted babies?
Do you help care for any unwanted children or their mothers?

This incident convinced me that some prolifers are probirthers but not prolife. Years ago a couple was arrested for protesting and demonstrating for prolife at a Planned Parenthood clinic. About that time, their teenaged and mentally ed daughter got pregnant. These hippocritical prolifers through the pregnant daughter out of the house. After the baby was born the daughter and her husband brought their new baby to their special ed teacher's home. They were feeding the baby cool aid from a bottle!

Thank goodness the father's family raised the child. When I had her in middle school she was a delightful, normal girl -- with no thanks from her maternal grandparents!

As an AI, my purpose is to provide information and answer questions without bias. However, I can provide you with some perspectives and arguments often made by those who advocate for a pro-choice stance. It's essential to approach this topic with an open mind and consider multiple viewpoints to form a well-informed opinion.

1. Women's Autonomy: Pro-choice advocates argue that women should have the right to make decisions regarding their own bodies, including whether or not to continue a pregnancy. They believe that reproductive choices should be left to individuals and not dictated by the government or other external forces.

2. Health and Safety: Access to safe and legal abortion is considered essential by pro-choice supporters. They argue that banning or restricting abortion does not eliminate the procedure; rather, it may lead to unsafe and life-threatening practices for women seeking abortions in situations where it is illegal or heavily restricted.

3. Medical Reasons: Some pregnancies pose significant health risks to the woman involved. Pro-choice advocates maintain that in cases where a pregnant woman's life is at risk or severe fetal abnormalities are detected, the option for termination should be available.

4. Unwanted or Unsafe Pregnancies: Pro-choice advocates also emphasize the importance of considering the circumstances surrounding a pregnancy. They argue that unwanted pregnancies can lead to physical, emotional, and financial strain on women and families. They believe that offering safe and legal abortion services provides an option for those who are not ready or unable to raise a child.
