Connexus Actually Sucks. It's Way Too Demanding And Difficult. I Can't Even.

Does anyone have the answers? IK ppl will call me a cheater but math IS HARD. AND AINT NOBODY WANT TO DO THIS MUcH WOrK. SO HELP!

@Aw Man

True. Connexus puts bunches of portfolios on our hands every few lessons. Portfolios are like projects, they can take OVER A WEEK to complete. Along with a string of unit tests every ten days. Tsk. I'm moving schools if I even manage to finish 8th grade.

Range: you have a serious misunderstanding. The range of a set of data is the difference between the highest and lowest values in the set. To find the range, first order the data from least to greatest. Then subtract the smallest value from the largest value in the set.

There are many handy calculators online you can use to check your answers. There is one at

http://www.calculator.net/mean-median-mode-range-calculator.html

13 18 61 11 47 11 84

To check your answers for the mean, median, mode, and range of the given data sets, here is how you can calculate each:

1) Data set: 61, 98, 60, 60, 57, 81, 93

Mean: Add up all the numbers in the data set, and then divide the sum by the total number of values. In this case, (61 + 98 + 60 + 60 + 57 + 81 + 93) / 7 = 72.

Median: Arrange the numbers in ascending order, and find the middle value. In this case, the numbers in ascending order are 57, 60, 60, 61, 81, 93, 98. The middle value is 61.

Mode: The mode is the value that appears most frequently in the data set. In this case, the number 60 appears twice, which is more than any other number. So the mode is 60.

Range: The range is the difference between the largest and smallest values in the data set. In this case, the largest value is 98 and the smallest value is 57. So the range is 98 - 57 = 41.

2) Data set: 72, 18, 78, 94, 94, 73

Mean: (72 + 18 + 78 + 94 + 94 + 73) / 6 = 71.

Median: Arrange the numbers in ascending order: 18, 72, 73, 78, 94, 94. The middle value is 73.

Mode: The number 94 appears twice, which is the most frequent. So the mode is 94.

Range: The largest value is 94 and the smallest value is 18. The range is 94 - 18 = 76.

3) Data set: 73, 66, 80, 81, 45

Mean: (73 + 66 + 80 + 81 + 45) / 5 = 69.

Median: Arrange the numbers in ascending order: 45, 66, 73, 80, 81. The middle value is 73.

Mode: There is no number that appears more than once, so there is no mode.

Range: The largest value is 81 and the smallest value is 45. The range is 81 - 45 = 36.

Continue this process for the remaining data sets by following the same steps.
