There are 2 flowcharts in my book so I wrote all this 2 x $4.95 is the cost of 2 books + Amount of tax is $1.22 - Amount of coupon is $0.50 = Total spent which is $15.99 This is the other flowchart that goes backwards. $15.99 + 0.50 - $1.22 - $9.90 = $5.37 Then, we divide the cost of 3 pens by 3 to find the cost of each pen 3 / 3 = 1 I am smart hehe ;) You're Welcome
