Could you please explain how to scale up?

I have something that is worth 110 points that needs to be scaled up to 200 points but I'm not sure how to do it.

Thank you.

PS - do I do it by dividing it by .55?

that will work

To scale up a value, you need to determine the scale factor and then multiply the original value by that factor. In your case, you want to scale up a value of 110 points to 200 points.

To find the scale factor, divide the desired final value (200 points) by the initial value (110 points):

Scale Factor = Desired Final Value / Initial Value
Scale Factor = 200 points / 110 points
Scale Factor = 1.81818...

The scale factor is approximately 1.81818.

To scale up, multiply the original value by the scale factor:

Scaled Value = Original Value * Scale Factor
Scaled Value = 110 points * 1.81818...
Scaled Value = 200 points (approximately)

So, to scale up your value from 110 points to 200 points, you need to multiply it by a scale factor of approximately 1.81818.
