Would the answer be: 8 > Z?

    So then the answer is 8 > (Greater than) Z

    If I were to draw this on the number line. Would I do an open circle on the number 8 and then draw a line to the right?

    It is best to state 8 > z in a more direct way as
    z < 8
    You would draw your line to the LEFT.

    (think of 8 > 5 as true, then 5 < 8 is the corresponding statement)
