A simple route to appreciate other languages and cultures is to explore how your own language and culture have been influenced by other cultures. To help you do this, take a few minutes and discuss in Spanish (1-2 paragraphs) aspects your culture has borrowed from Spanish culture or influences of Spanish speaking culture in your own. (For example, you might write about the influence of Latin cuisine, music and dance on lifestyle, and practices in the U.S.).
