I've read the passage im just stuck on a few questions!
in “The Battle with the Dragon,” where does the dragon store the treasure it steals?
-in a tower
-in a cave
-beneath a lake
-atop rocky cliffs
11. from Beowulf, “Grendel’s Mother” and “The Battle with Grendel’s Mother”
Which of these shows the value that Anglo-Saxon culture placed on strength and valor?
-the Danes’ return to Herot as Beowulf did battle in the lake
-the theft of Grendel’s claw by Grendel’s mother
-the return of Beowulf’s chain-mail by Grendel’s mother
-the Geats’ carrying of Beowulf’s battle gear from the lake to Herot
I hope these help. It's been way too long since I read this to be of specific help. Keep in mind, though, that there was not much about Grendel or Grendel's mother that was considered heroic!
