Mrs. Herby bought some carrots. She put 2/5 of them on a platter and the rest in a plastic bag. If there were 8 carrots on the platter, how many carrots were there in the plastic bag?

    Bought x carrots.

    2/5 * x = 8,
    X = 20 Carrots.

    20 - 8 = 12 Carrots in plastic bag.
