What effect will this have upon the supply. (Increase or decrease?)

a large new tariff (tax) on imported tablets. My answer is decreased

Maybe a decrease in supply. More likely a decrease in SALES of tablets due to higher retail price to cover the tariff, regardless of the number imported (supply). It certainly would not indicate an increase in supply, though.
