Marcus built a model car that is 4 inches wide. What scale was used to build the car if the actual width of the car is 6 feet?

1 in. = 2 ft
1 in. = 2.5 ft
1 in. = (1.5 ft)
1 ft = 1.5 in.

@creepy boi and @Kimo are both correct, yet @Kimo has a more difficult strategy. The answer would be D. 1 in. = 1.5 ft. which means, your original answer was correct. (ps. sorry if this was late for you).

There rest of the test answers for those who want to check their work are here:
1. B (1 cm = 3 ft)
2. C (1 in. = 1.5 ft)
3. D (2.7 in.)
4. A (840 miles)
5. C (4 cm)

Hope I helped!!

1 in.=1.5

1. B (1 cm = 3 ft)

2. C (1 in. = 1.5 ft)
3. D (2.7 in.)
4. A 840 miles)
5. C (4 cm)
These are the answers

Thanks tempest

I do it this way (Proportions): 4" is to 6' as 1 (Standard) is to X. Therefore 4"/1 = 6'/X or 4x = 6, therefore x = 6/4 or 1.5 times or a Scale of 1:5

thank you so much IhateJoeBiden

tempest is correct, I got a 100%

thank you tempest 😄😊

4 inches ---> 6 ft

1 inch -----> 6/4 ft or 1.5 ft
