14 x^2 12 x^2 = 2 x^2
3 x + 11 x = 14 x
4  3 = 1
so
2 x^2 + 14 x + 1
============================
4 x^2  2 x^2 = 2 x^2
5 x + 1 x =  4 x
+4 + 8 = 12
so what do you think ?
