If a man travels 7km N 40degree W and 10km East, find the resultant displacement.
I want to see the answers of this question
7*sin40+10*sin90=14.5
7*cos40+10*cos90=5.4
(x^2+y^2)=15.5
if he travels 7.0km west of North 100km East find the resultant displacement
What about the sine rule
if a man travels 7.0km 30° East of North and then 10km East find the resultant displacement
If a man travel 7.0km 30 east of north then 10_0km east find the resultant displacement
R^2=10^2+7^2-2x10x7cos130 degree
R^2=149+89.9
R=15.46km

Firstly you would use pythogoras theorem.thats all I know but the problem in solving this is the N40°W😅. Anyway the answer is 8km or N44°W.
How does it get cos130
7@N40W = <-4.50,5.36>
10@E = <10.00,0.00>
now just add them up and use the normal distance formula.
