If a battary of 12vo and 100Ah is used for a 3KVA inverter calculate the maximum current it can produce at maximum load.

3KVA/12V=1/4 * 1ka=250amperes.

In reality, this is a most silly problem, as it ignores internal resistance of the battery, which will greatly decrease the voltage and current output.

For instance, if the internal resistance is .1 ohms, then
the max current is
12/(.1)=120a if the battery were short circuited. If the load is connected, the max current is 47 amps (I will leave the math to you). So in reality, these problems are fun, but in reality, the internal resistance is of great importance. The inverter would not get its required power (battery teminal voltage 7 volts, load current 47amps, power delivered=about 330 watts, or 1/10 of the 3KVA.
