Which ratios form a proportion?

(A)3/15,12/55
(B)8/24,12/35
(C)5/18,25/90*^*
(D)4/11,16/25
If I'm wrong please help me and correct me, don't yell at me for not knowing the right answer. please help asap

C is correct! Like I said when I last helped you, if you divide 25 by 5, and 90 by 18, you will get the same number (5), so that's how you know it is correct!

Thank you so much! @Isaac

To determine which ratios form a proportion, we need to compare the ratios to check if they are equal.

(A) Comparing 3/15 and 12/55:
To find out if these ratios form a proportion, cross multiply:
Cross-multiplying 3/15 and 12/55:
3 * 55 = 15 * 12
165 = 180

Since 165 is not equal to 180, the ratios 3/15 and 12/55 do not form a proportion.

(B) Comparing 8/24 and 12/35:
Cross-multiplying 8/24 and 12/35:
8 * 35 = 24 * 12
280 = 288

Since 280 is not equal to 288, the ratios 8/24 and 12/35 do not form a proportion.

(C) Comparing 5/18 and 25/90:
Cross-multiplying 5/18 and 25/90:
5 * 90 = 18 * 25
450 = 450

Since 450 is equal to 450, the ratios 5/18 and 25/90 do form a proportion. So, option (C) is correct.

(D) Comparing 4/11 and 16/25:
Cross-multiplying 4/11 and 16/25:
4 * 25 = 11 * 16
100 = 176

Since 100 is not equal to 176, the ratios 4/11 and 16/25 do not form a proportion.

Therefore, the correct answer is option (C): 5/18, 25/90.
