Please help!! This is a really weird question but I'm in a dilemma. My economics teacher doesn't post our marks online so idk what mark I'm actually at in his class. Can anyone help me figure out what percent I'm at right now if I give the following information ?

He has:
Question cards worth a total of 10%
3 quizzes worth a total of 20%
2 midterms worth 20% each
And a final exam worth 30%

My current marks are:
Question cards:
.5/1, .5/1, and 1/1
1 quiz : 7.5/10
1 midterm : 16/30

So far that's all we have done, can anyone tell me my percent in the class cause I'm really worried at the moment

cards average: 2/3= .66

quiz average= ,75
midterm= .533

class score so far:
.66*10 + .75*20+.533*20
(6.6 + 15 +10.66)/.7
the .5 is because you dont have a final exam yet.
grade to date: 32.3/.5= 65 on the basis of 100

So currently I'm at 65% out of 100 in the class... ?

yes.

To calculate your current percentage in the class, you need to determine the weightage of each component and then calculate the contribution of each component towards your overall grade. Here's how you can proceed:

1. Calculate the weightage of each component:
- Question cards: 10%
- Quizzes: 20%
- Midterms (two): 20% each, total is 40%
- Final exam: 30%

2. Calculate the contribution of each component to your overall grade:
- Question cards: You have completed 3 out of a total of 3 question cards, so your contribution is (2/3) * 10% = 6.67%.
- Quizzes: You have completed 1 out of a total of 3 quizzes, so your contribution is (7.5/10) * 20% = 15%.
- Midterms: You have completed 1 out of 2 midterms, so your contribution is (16/30) * 40% = 21.33%.
- Final exam: Since you haven't taken it yet, your contribution is 0%.

3. Add up the contributions from each component:
- Question cards: 6.67%
- Quizzes: 15%
- Midterms: 21.33%
- Final exam: 0%

Total = 6.67% + 15% + 21.33% + 0% = 43%.

Therefore, based on the completed components, your current percentage in the class is 43%. Please note that this calculation does not include future assignments, quizzes, or the final exam, which may impact your final grade.
