Please help!! This is a really weird question but I'm in a dilemma. My economics teacher doesn't post our marks online so idk what mark I'm actually at in his class. Can anyone help me figure out what percent I'm at right now if I give the following information ?

He has:
Question cards worth a total of 10%
3 quizzes worth a total of 20%
2 midterms worth 20% each
And a final exam worth 30%

My current marks are:
Question cards:
.5/1, .5/1, and 1/1
1 quiz : 7.5/10
1 midterm : 16/30

So far that's all we have done, can anyone tell me my percent in the class cause I'm really worried at the moment

To determine your current percentage in your economics class, we need to calculate your marks for each component and then add them up. Let's break it down step by step:

1. Question cards: You have completed three question cards, each worth 1 point. Your scores for each card are 0.5, 0.5, and 1. To find the total marks for question cards, you add them up: 0.5 + 0.5 + 1 = 2 marks.

2. Quizzes: You have completed one quiz, which is worth 10 points. Your score on that quiz is 7.5. So your total marks for quizzes are 7.5.

3. Midterms: You have completed one midterm, worth 30 points. Your score on the midterm is 16. So your total marks for midterms are 16.

Now let's calculate the total marks you have achieved so far:

Question cards: 2 marks (out of 2)
Quizzes: 7.5 marks (out of 10)
Midterms: 16 marks (out of 30)

Adding these up, you have a total of 2 + 7.5 + 16 = 25.5 marks out of a total possible of 42 (2 + 10 + 30).

To find your current percentage, divide your total marks by the total possible marks and multiply by 100:

(25.5 / 42) * 100 ≈ 60.71%

Therefore, you are approximately at 60.71% in your economics class based on the work you have completed so far.
