Complete the given table for the equation 4x+y=9

The following given table is
x y
-1 13
3 5
2 -3

Roll X is missing two numbers and Roll y is missing three numbers

Please someone help. I have been stuck on this question for to long and can not move on to next assignment. Thanks

Is your table supposed to be a partial solution set to the given equation?

If so, then only (-1,13) satisfies the equation , the other two points do not.

Just rewrite the equation to the form
y = -4x + 9

now pick any x you feel like, sub it in and you have another entry for your table.
e.g.
x = 3
y = -4(3) + 9 = -12+9 = -3
so your entry would be 3 -3

x = 2
y = -4(2)+9 = -8+9 = 1
your entry is 2 1

"Roll X is missing two numbers and Roll y is missing three numbers "
I have no idea what that means. Did you mean Row X ???
You have columns X and Y, not rows.

To complete the table for the equation 4x + y = 9, we can substitute the given values of x into the equation to find the corresponding values of y.

Let's start with the first row:

x = -1
4(-1) + y = 9
-4 + y = 9
y = 9 + 4
y = 13

So, when x = -1, y = 13.

Now let's move on to the second row:

x = 3
4(3) + y = 9
12 + y = 9
y = 9 - 12
y = -3

So, when x = 3, y = -3.

Finally, for the third row:

x = 2
4(2) + y = 9
8 + y = 9
y = 9 - 8
y = 1

So, when x = 2, y = 1.

Therefore, the completed table is:

x y
-1 13
3 -3
2 1
