Solve this algebraically for the exact values (Meaning find the x-intercepts):

(1/x)=x/(3x+18)

I'm not sure what to write as the common denominator. I thought it was: 4x+18 because (3x+x+18)=(4x+18), but I'm not sure what to do from there.

Thanks!

why would you add denominators? These are still just fractions.

1/x = x/(3x+18)
multiply by x(3x+18)
3x+18 = x^2
