I lined up all of my pet snakes. The two pythons are 6 feet each. I also have three corn snakes that are all the same length. Altogether, my snakes total 21 feet.

A. How long is one of the corn snakes?
B.Write an equation that models this situation. Thank you teachers so much as I love K12 but some problems I have a really hard time understanding and my coach referred me to this website for help sometimes.Thank you again.

2*6 = 12 (total length of pythons)

21-12 = 9 (amount left for the corn snakes)
9/3 = 3 feet per corn snake

c = (21-2*6)/3
