Im in grade 10 and i want to write my homework.how to solve for x?

What is the problem?

my problem is between solve x and factorisation but my very very problem is solve for x am a Grade 10 learner so who can help me. and i don't know my career

To solve for x in an equation, follow the steps below:

1. Start by isolating the x term on one side of the equation. To do this, simplify the equation by combining like terms and moving any constants to the other side of the equation using inverse operations. Remember, you can add, subtract, multiply, or divide both sides of the equation by the same value to maintain equality.

2. If the equation contains fractions, eliminate them by multiplying both sides by the least common multiple (LCM) of the denominators.

3. If there are variables on both sides of the equation, aim to get all the x terms on one side and the constant terms on the other side. This can be done by using inverse operations.

4. Once the x term is isolated on one side of the equation, apply any necessary simplifications by performing inverse operations in reverse order. For example, if the equation has addition and multiplication, you should perform the division first, followed by subtraction.

5. After simplifying the equation, you should have x isolated on one side and the constant value on the other side. The equation should be in the form x = constant value. This represents the solution to the equation.

6. If the equation is quadratic (contains an x² term), you can use factoring, completing the square, or the quadratic formula to solve for x.

Remember to check your solution by plugging it back into the original equation. If it satisfies the equation for all values of x, then your solution is correct.
