all those words and redundancy. Why repeat the definition of f(x). Much easier to understand

f(x)=
{ 4 if (0 < x < 4)
{ 5 if (4 <= x <= 10)

and use the graph to evaluate the
lim as x--> 4 of f(x)

Clearly the limit does not exist, as the left limit does not equal the right limit. That big break in the graph makes this quite clear.
