I'm the real Ms. Sue.

10 cars are only a fraction of what he has in his collection. Therefore there must be more than 10 cars in his collection.

The answer is c. 25.

The answer is 25. The reason is because the problem says " 10 red model cars, which are 2/5 of the TOTAL number of cars.

Meaning that 10 is only 2/5 of the total. So if 10 is 2/5 then 5 must be 1/5 due to 10 being divided by 2 getting 5. SO that means we need to count up by 5's, 5 times, or just multiply 5 x 5 to get 25.

Though if you can do quick math, just multiply 10 x 2/5. I see how you got 4 though. You divided 10 by 2/5, you were supposed to divide. Hope this helped

You're welcome.
