Ms. Sue that was really mean. There was no need to cuss at this child. Maybe this kid is really smart but only needed help with this specific question? You don't know how this child is so don't go calling someone stupid without getting your facts straight.
Without getting into much detail he would compare their genome and look for similarities that might indicate that they are closely related and perhaps belong on the same lineage or not.
That was uncalled for sue and that's why I don't like for my children to ask teachers questions and that's why I have started homeschooling my children because of the abuse in the school not only verbal but physical that my children have dealt with just from the last school.
If a child has a question just help them sometimes they need a little help or a boost in confidence and by u saying what you said just hurts them...
U need to apologize to the child that u said that to....!!!!!
