List three different ways to write 5^11 as the product of two powers. Explain why all three of your expresses are equal to 5^11.

Please help me I don't know how to do this kind of math.

The product law states that when 2 powers that have the same index ad multiplied, you add the powers.

So, you need to find two numbers that add to 11.

    Example:5^2 * 5^9 = 5^11

I gave you one of the possible answers. Why not try the another two?

    Hope I helped :-)

    5^0*5^11
    5^-4*5^15
    Are these right???

  3. Lucina

    Yes, they are correct! :D
