Which of the following best replaces the question mark?
a) Maryland Toleration Act(1649)
b) Pennsylvania's Charter of privileges (1701)
c) Royal Charter of Rhode Island(1663)
d) Virginia mandated Anglicanism( Church of England)

i think its b? am i right?

No. Pennsylvania's Charter of Privileges promoted religious tolerance.

Which of your choices shows religious intolerance?

what does religious intolerance mean?

No, B is not right.

It means that anyone who does not conform to a certain set of beliefs or ways of worship can be denied rights, such as voting, or church attendance, whatever the "powers that be" want to deny to non-conformists.

from the example i conclude that it means that maybe unjust laws perhaps?

A good example is European Jews being confined to ghettos because they were not Christians. Another is Roger Williams who had religious views that differed from the "official ones" in Boston, so he was ostracized and went off to found another colony in Rhode Island on the principle that everyone could worship any way they wanted.

Another example is in my own ancestry. Hannah Tate, a Quaker in Pennsylvania, married a Baptist from New Jersey, a few miles away. They were married by a magistrate with no church wedding (he wasn't Quaker, so they wouldn't accept him anyway). Her church decided they were "living in sin," and excommunicated her.

mandated means instructed so i would say d is not it. i am guessing c? maryland had an act of toleration

Toleration is the opposite of intolerance, is it not?
