How does Science impact you?

I said that it prepares you for a career in the medical field, gains knowledge...
can you help me find 3 better reasons???

Science gives me information about nature and the natural world around me.

Science provides a factual way of looking at the world.

Science produces medicines and treatments for illnesses.

Science gives information about the foods we eat.

Science designs the buildings and gadgets we use.

My interpretation of the question is how it impacts your daily life; I think you have answered how science may be helpful although a career in a medical field certainly would impact you.

Science is around you. The plastics and metals in your car, the gasoline you use in it, the tires on it, are the result of science from the petroleum fields to the refinery to a chemical lab somewhere. Engineering puts those satellites up there for instant communication, radar and meteorologists interpret the weather, velcro is an engineering marvel, and on and on. I assume you can find enough in all of that to write a few sentences. The bottom line, in my opinion, is that science is with you from the time you wake in the A.M. to the time you go to bed at night (then it keeps working with that air conditioning or heating to keep you comfortable while you sleep).

thank you so much you guys. i am writing an expository about this. again, thank u!

Certainly! Here are three additional reasons as to how science impacts you:

1. Technological advancements: Science has been instrumental in driving technological advancements that have greatly improved our quality of life. From the invention of life-saving medical devices to the development of communication technologies like smartphones, science has transformed the way we live and work.

To find more examples, you can do some research on recent scientific discoveries and their impact on technology. Look for articles, news websites, or scientific journals that discuss advancements in fields like medicine, energy, transportation, or communication. These sources can help you gather specific examples to better articulate how science impacts technological progress.

2. Environmental conservation: Science plays a crucial role in understanding and addressing environmental issues. By studying ecosystems, climate patterns, and natural resources, scientists can provide valuable insights on conservation strategies and sustainable practices.

To find examples, you can search for scientific research papers, environmental organizations' websites, or news articles that discuss scientific contributions to environmental conservation. Look for studies on topics like climate change, biodiversity, renewable energy, or pollution. These sources will offer information to support the claim that science is essential in protecting and preserving our planet.

3. Decision-making and policy development: Science provides evidence-based information that helps policymakers and decision-makers make informed choices. It helps shape public policies, regulations, and guidelines that impact society at large.

To find examples, you can explore government websites, international organizations' reports, or scientific studies related to policy development. Look for cases where scientific evidence has influenced policy decisions in areas like healthcare, education, public safety, or environmental protection. These sources will give you credible information to demonstrate how science plays a crucial role in guiding policy-making.

Remember, gathering specific examples and evidence from reliable sources will strengthen your arguments and provide a better understanding of how science impacts various aspects of our lives.
