what factor do 4x^2 +13x+3 and 8x^2+22x-6
have in common?
i try and got answer of 12, am i right or wrong?
clearly, 12 does not divide either polynomial.
4x^2 + 13x + 3 = (4x+1)(x+3)
8x^2 + 22x - 6 = (4x-1)(x+3)
Now can you see the common factor? How ever did you come up with 12?
