Construct a triangle ABC such that BC=5.2 cm , AB=4.8cm and median CM= 3.6cm

There are lots of sample constructions here:

To construct a triangle ABC with the given measurements, follow these steps:

1. Draw a line segment of length BC = 5.2 cm. Label the endpoints as B and C.

2. Construct a line segment of length AB = 4.8 cm starting from point B. Label the endpoint as A.

3. Locate the midpoint of line segment BC, and mark it as point M. This is the midpoint of BC.

4. From point M, construct a line segment perpendicular to BC, with a length of CM = 3.6 cm. Label the endpoint of this line segment as D.

5. Connect point D to points A and B, forming line segments AD and BD, respectively.

6. Triangle ABC is now constructed, with AB = 4.8 cm, BC = 5.2 cm, and CM = 3.6 cm as one of its medians.

Note: The median CM also acts as the height of the triangle from vertex A. This construction assumes that CM is a median, not an altitude.
