Write a translation rule that maps point D (7,-3) onto point D' (2,5)
Explain your answer
I have no idea how to do this can someone please help me.
Yes, (x,y) = (x - 5, y + 8). (x - 5, y +8) is the answer to the above problem.
So (x,y)--->(x-5, y+8)?
What did we do to the 7 to make it a 2 ?
looks like we subtracted 5
What did we do to the -3 to turn it into a 5 ???
so (x,y) ---> (x-5, ..........)
I am sure you can get this
Man, imagine starting a debate on a homework help website.
Y'all look like clowns arguing on this website lmaooo 🤡ðŸ˜
I`m so confused
Thanks you guys!

To all who don't get it (x - 5, y + 8). (x - 5, y +8).
X=7, Y=-3. If you take 7 and subtract by 5 you will get 2. If you take -3 and add it to 8 you will get 5. So that is (2,5).
Really hopes that cleans up the confusion.
