530 mL solution 10% HCl has been spilt onto the bench. It cannot be diluted or washed away. How much of the granular NaOH from the container seen in a must be used to neutralise the acid? [Using NaOH: MM = 40 g/mol]

10% HCl means 10g HCl/100 mL so you spilled 10 x 530/100 = 53 g

mols HCl = grams/molar mass = approx 1,5 but you need a more accurate answer than that.
NaOH + HCl ==> NaCl + H2O
You have approx 1.5 mols HCl so you ned approx 1.5 mols NaOH.
mols NaOH = gram/molar mass. You know molar mass and mols, solve for grams.
NOW, that works the problem and let me tell you how dangerous that is. You NEVER neutralize an acid with a srong base like NaOH. The NaOH can cause burns just as bad or worse than the HCl. You should neuetralize HCl with NaHCO3 or Na2CO3.
