Solve for x

2x^2 - 8 = 100

  • Algebra -

    2 x^2 = 108

    x^2 = 54

    note: 54 = 6 * 9 = 6 * 3^2

    so
    x = 3 sqrt 6 or x = -3 sqrt 6
