Need help please explain how to get the answers for these two factoring problems and for the second problem with the "ac method".

2a^2+1+3a

15x^2+31x+2

AC Method:

1. 2a^2 * 3a + 1
A*C = 2*1 = 2. 2+1 = 3 = B
2a^2 + (2a+a) + 1
Form 2 Binomials and factor:
(2a^2+2a) + (a+1)
2a(a+1) + (a+1)
(a+1)(2a+1).

2. 15x^2 + 31x + 2
A*C = 15*2 = 30 = 30*1. Sum = (30+1)=B.
15x^2 + (30x+x) + 2
(15x^2+30x) + (x+2)
15x(x+2) + (x+2)
(x+2)(15x+1).

Note: When the coefficient of x^2 is
greater than 1, use the AC method of
factoring.
