multiply the polynomial (x1)(2x squared  x 3)

distributive property:
x * (2x^2  x 3)
1* (2x^2  x 3)
= 2 x^3  x^2  3 x  2 x^2 + x + 3
combine like terms
= 2 x^3  3 x^2  2 x + 3
