Please I need help on. Function y=4x +5 with the domain x≤0. And what is the range of the function?

  • Algebra 1 -

the slope of the line is positive, so maximum y will occur where the maximum x occurs. So, y <= 5

Since lines extend to infinity, the range is thus (-∞,5]
