24.75 x 40 = 990
Answer (what I got): 24.75 + 990 = $1014.75
The answer in the back of my textbook says $1006.50.
16.5 * 40 = 660 >> base pay
24.75 * 14 = 346.50 >> overtime pay
660 + 346.5 = 1006.50 >> total pay
