How do you find the related acute anle of tan110 and sin350? I don't understand how to get the answer...

for Ø

if Ø is in I , that is your related angle
if Ø is in II, related angle = 180-Ø
if Ø is in III, related angle = Ø - 180
if Ø is in IV, related angle = 360-Ø

so tan 110
= - tan(180-110) = -tan 70°

sin 350 = -sin(360-350) = -sin10°

verify both results with your calculator.

Of course you will have to consider the ± value of the trig ratio using the CAST rule
